A 14-year-old Storm Lake boy has been charged with assault.  Police were dispatched Tuesday afternoon to 506 Russell Street… where the female victim told officers her 14-year-old son allegedly shattered a computer device belonging to his mother and then physically assaulted her, knocking her to the floor.
          Police arrested the boy and charged him with assault and fifth-degree criminal mischief.  He was taken to the Youth Detention Facility in Cherokee pending an appearance in juvenile court.
