A man who sexually exploited a child has pleded guilty in federal court in Sioux City.
Thirty-eight year-old Dana Gleaves of Sioux City was convicted of one count of sexual exploitation of a child. He admitted between June 2010 and June 2011, he used, persuaded, induced, or enticed a minor under the age of 18 to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing visual depictions of such conduct.
Gleaves remains in custody of the United States Marshal pending sentencing. He faces a minimum sentence of 15 years and a fine of up to 250-thousand dollars. The case was investigated by the Sioux City Police Department.
