Six people were injured in a two-vehicle accident two miles southeast of Schaller on Monday morning.
          The Sac County Sheriff’s Department says a car driven by 46-year-old Chad Hansen of Schaller was northbound on Esther Avenue as a pickup driven by 53-year-old Ricky Mentzer of Schaller was eastbound on 230th Street.  The vehicles collided in the uncontrolled intersection.  Hansen’s car went into the east ditch, where it rolled over.
          Hansen was taken by private car to Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake with possible injuries.  Four passengers in his car were taken by Sac County ambulance to BVRMC… 45- year-old Robbie Hansen of Schaller with incapacitating injuries… 20-year-old Kelsey Hansen, 22-year-old Andrew Roghair, and 16-year-old Lucas Hansen, all with possible injuries.  Mentzer reported possible injuries, but wasn’t hospitalized.
          Mentzer was charged with failure to yield to a vehicle on the right.  Both vehicles were totaled, with three-thousand dollars damage to Mentzer’s truck and nine-thousand dollars damage to Hansen’s car.
