A Storm Lake woman faces several charges after she was stopped for a traffic offense in the 600-block of Cayuga Street Friday afternoon.
          Storm lake Police identified the driver as 30-year-oldMaira Yolanda Vega-Perez.  Police allege Perez initially gave officers a false name and provided them with other fictitious information.  Police eventually determined Perez was reportedly working at the Storm Lake Sara Lee Plant under a false name.  Police located and seized from Perez a forged state ID card.
          Police charged Perez with forgery and possession of forged documents, both class D felonies… no driver’s license, no vehicle insurance, failure to secure a child, and providing false information to law enforcement.  Perez was jailed without bond on a detainer issued by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
