Two people were arrested in connection with an assault last Friday (July 20th) at the Little Sioux River access near Gillett Grove.
          The Clay County Sheriff’s Department says 24-year-old Christopher Marble of Spencer turned himself in to the Clay County Jail after a warrant was issued charging him with assault causing bodily injury, a serious misdemeanor.  Thirty-year-old Jospeh Vanderske of Royal was arrested Wednesday and charged with assault with intent to cause serious injury, an aggravated misdemeanor.
          Both men are being held in the Clay County Jail.
