Thursday night as part of an on going investigation into the sales of illicit drugs, the Storm Lake Police Department Entry Team… assisted by members of the Narcotics Unit and Department’s Canine Unit… executed a search warrant at the residence of 507 Superior Street.
          During the search of the residence, Officers located and seized marijuana, plastic baggies used for packaging marijuana, scales, marijuana pipes, and other drug paraphernalia. Several people living at 507 Superior Street were taken into custody and taken to the police station for questioning.
          Police say all who were questioned were released from custody.  This incident is still under investigation and charges are pending.
