A car-semi collision Wednesday morning at the intersection of two Clay County blacktops east of Spencer sent one person to the hospital.
          The state patrol says 55-year-old Nicole Christensen of Spencer was northbound on M-50 and attempted to turn left onto B-24 when she turned into the path of a southbound semi driven by 67-year-old Russell Meier of Harris.   Christensen was taken by ambulance to Spencer Hospital with incapacitating injuries. Meier wasn’t injured.
          Charges are pending against Christensen.  There was 15-thousand dollars damage to Christensen’s car… seven-thousand dollars damage to the semi.
