Storm Lake is receiving a grant to replace the airport fuel system.  City clerk Justin Yarosevich says the airport sells both general aviation and jet fuel.  He says fuel sales is the primary revenue source for the airport and a safe and accurate system to critical to the operations at the airport.
          The current system is over 20 years old… and it’s estimated to cost 145-thousand dollars to replace.  The city council this week accepted state funding for 58-percent of the project.  The city’s share would be 62-thousand dollars, which is in the current budget.
