The Buena Vista Sheriff’s Office investigated a suicide Tuesday.  Sheriff Gary Launderville says the comm center received a report at 9:20 Tuesday morning of a man who had committed suicide.
          Deputies and emergency medical personnel were dispatched to 5385 40th Avenue northwest of Alta… where they found the body of a 34-year-old male.  The initial investigation indicates the victim died of self-inflicted injuries.  The Buena Vista County Medical Examiner’s Office transported the victim to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Ankeny for an autopsy, with those results pending.
          The name of the victim hasn’t been released as the investigation continues.
