Several wanted persons are now in custody… part of an investigation by Storm Lake police to locate people wanted on outstanding warrants.
          Among those arrested was 32-year-old Patrick Haynes of Storm Lake… wanted on a warrant charging him with third-offense possession of marijuana, a class “D” felony. The charges stem from a probation check conducted at his residence in March where police allege they located and seized marijuana.  Haynes was jailed on a five-thousand dollar bond.
          Nineteen-year-old Eric Gutierrez of Sibley surrendered to police at the Storm Lake Police Station after law enforcement began looking for him.  He was wanted on the charge of violation of probation on a third-degree criminal mischief charge. He was jailed on a two-thousand dollar bond.
          Thirty-one-year-old Justin Howard of Storm Lake also surrendered at the police station. He was wanted on a warrant charging him with driving while revoked.  He was jailed on a one-thousand dollar bond.
          Police were assisted in their investigation by the Buena Vista County Sheriff’s Department, the U.S. Marshal’s Service Fugitive Task Force, the Iowa Department of Corrections, the Woodbury County Sheriff’s Department, and the Laurens Police Department.
