The Storm Lake High School renovation study is well underway… with the architects receiving input from school administrators and faculty Monday night.
          There was discussion about an additional gym… which principal Beau Ruleaux said would be used for athletic practices, dance squad and cheerleading practices, and other activities such as the annual art show.  Additional space for certain classrooms was discussed, including science labs and computer labs.  Teachers also noted the need for tutoring rooms, department offices, and a larger media center.
          Superintendent Carl Turner suggested an area just for ninth grade classes… and moving central office and community education to the high school from the school administration building.  Turner says conceptual drawings will be presented in late July, with information given to the school board in August.
