On Sunday, June 10, 2012 some 14 Newell Booster and Achiever Club members were led by President, Zack Sievers, to review Summer Club activities and hear presentations from 5 club members. The clubs will work together to paint the Alta Fairgrounds Small Animal Barn on July 8th and make ready for the fair events that will follow.
In the Leader’s report by Lisa Christensen and Tricia Morenz members were encouraged to read their 4-H Newsletter and meet June 15th Entry Form deadlines and try new exhibit areas such as Pride of Iowa, Communications, Pie Baking and Share The Fun. Several members worked to complete poster exhibits at the workshop following the meeting led by Lisa Christensen all held at Newell’s Nain Lutheran Church.
