5/31/12 Epperly Sentenced
An Albert City woman… charged with theft from her employer… has received a deferred judgment and ordered to make restitution.
According to court records, 35-year-old Lisa Epperly was arrested last June by the Storm Lake police department for allegedly taking in excess of ten-thousand dollars while working at One Stop Shop in Storm Lake from May of 2010 to May of 2011. She was charged with first-degree theft, a class “C” felony.
Epperly received a deferred judgment on the charge and was placed on probation for two years. She was ordered to pay ten-thousand dollars restitution… plus one-thousand dollars in fines, surcharges, and court costs… to pay court-appointed attorney fees… and to submit a DNA sample.
