A Storm Lake man… charged last October with assault… has been sentenced in Buena Vista County District Court.
          Storm Lake police charged 28-year-old Charvis Perkins with assault causing bodily injury, a serious misdemeanor, for allegedly striking the victim with his fist, causing a laceration.  Perkins was sentenced to two days in jail and ordered to pay fines, surcharges, and court costs of 650-dollars.
