(1993 SLSM State Champion baseball team)

                Over 30 former Panther baseball players, coaches and a former bus driver will be taking Memorial Field in a special scrimmage baseball game Saturday, June 16 as part of the St. Mary's School Centennial Celebration. The first pitch will go out at 11 a.m. and the public is invited. There is no admission fee to attend the game.
 
                Current St. Mary's baseball coach Ryan Berg has been organizing his former players for the event, as well as some athletes who donned black and white jerseys before Berg's tenure. Players range from graduates in the 1980s to players graduating in 2010. Most have never taken the field together. Several siblings will be playing in the scrimmage game.
Some have traveled from Minnesota, Missouri and all around Iowa.
 
                Two 1999 graduates - Scott Brown and Ben McCollum - also served as assistant coaches after graduating from St. Mary's. Three players from the St. Mary's 1993 1A State Baseball Championship team will be playing
- 1993 graduates Dean Feltner, Kirk Fitzgerald and Tim Young.


(2000 SLSM team) 

                Former coach Jim Demers will be taking the field as well as Phil Skamser, former St. Mary's educator and coach who formerly drove the Panther baseball bus for the players. Skamser also kept stats for the Panthers. Former assistant coach Tony Statz will also be joining the players.
 
                Current St. Mary's parent and announcer Mike Sandhoff will be announcing the game for the crowd. The game will run for 7 innings or no more than two hours. The St. Mary's Athletic Boosters will open the concession stand for spectators and will serve items that include chicken drumsticks and funnel cakes.
