A Schaller man was arrested after Storm Lake Police located a quantity of meth in a local warehouse.
Officers were dispatched to C-W-and-T, at 1509 Richland Drive… where staff alleged they had located what appeared to be drug paraphernalia and a possible controlled substance. Police located an area in the warehouse which contained about three quarters of a pound of meth, valued at 14-thousand dollars… along with drug packaging materials, a digital scale and other items associated with the sales of illegal drugs. Officers secured the area and seized all of the materials.
Following an investigation, 38-year-old Jeremiah Koch of Schaller was taken into custody and his vehicle was impounded. Officers seized drug paraphernalia from the vehicle.
Koch was charged with possession with intent to deliver meth, a class “B” felony… possession of meth, a class “C” felony… failure to affix a drug tax stamp, a class “D” felony… and possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor. He was held in jail without bond.
