The OA-BCIG boys basketball team wrapped up at least a share of the Western Valley Conference regular season title with their 81-48 win over Ridge View as part of the Falcons Senior Night in Ida Grove on Friday.
OA-BCIG never trailed, but the Raptors hung tough most of the way. OA-BCIG was up 15-13 after the 1st quarter, and extended the lead to 34-23 at the half. Ridge View got as close as seven during the 3rd, but were down 54-40 entering the 4th, and then the Falcons broke it open with a 27-8 advantage in the 4th quarter.
An alley oop dunk from Cooper Dejean on a pass from Landon Ray during the 1st quarter was the Wells Ag Supply of Fonda Play of the Game. Dejean finished with 20 points, and Ray had 16. Kaden Ladwig led the way with 23, and Grant Conover chimmed in with 10.
Jake Tokheim led Ridge View with 16, and Austin Degen had 10.

OA-BCIG boosts their overall mark to 11-2, and they’re 7-0 in the Western Valley. Ridge View goes to 4-9, 4-3.
The Ridge View girls were victorious 67-41.
OA-BCIG led by four early on, but the Raptors took the lead for good with a 14-0 run to end the 1st quarter to go up 16-6. Ridge View led 27-19 at the half, and the Falcons could not get any closer during the 2nd half. The score was 47-33 after the 3rd.
Ridge View was well balanced with five in double figures. Kinzey Dutler had 15, Kennedy Mason 14, Kenzee Wunschel 13, Kara Richard 12, and Hanna Blackmore was named the Wells Ag Supply of Fonda Player of the Game with 10 off the bench.

Ridge View improves to 8-5 overall, and 4-3 in the WVC. OA-BCIG is now 3-12, 2-5.
The Ridge View teams host Siouxland Christian on Tuesday.
The OA-BCIG teams will also be home on Tuesday, as they’ll take on Westwood.
