In a game that featured 100 points and 1,045 yards of offense Southeast Valley beat OA-BCIG 58-42 in a first round game of the class 2A playoffs Friday night at Gowrie.
After trailing 36-28 at the half, the Falcons scored a touchdown on the opening possession of the 2nd half and made the two point conversion to tie the game at 36 but the Jaguars would score three of the last four touchdowns and pull away for the win. They were led by Kyler Fisher who ran the ball 40 times for 317 yards and seven touchdowns. Kenny Bluck added 141 yards rushing on 18 attempts. Southeast Valley picked up 470 yards rushing and had 567 yards of total offense.
The Falcons had 478 yards of offense and Kaden Ladwig accounted for 465. He was 31-of-47 through the air for 424 yards and six touchdowns and added 41 yards rushing on 21 attempts. Jake Nieman was the Falcons leading receiver with 11 receptions for 151 yards and three scores.
OA-BCIG finishes the year with a record of 7-3. Southeast Valley is now 8-2 and will play at Boyden-Hull-Rock Valley next Friday night.
