SLSM Speech Students Advancing to State

All seven of the Storm Lake St. Mary’s High School students will be advancing to the state speech competition on March 10th at Kuemper High School in Carroll.

Seven students participated in 8 events in Cherokee on Monday of this week.

Jordan Hewett- Prose “The Orthodontist”

Alondra Melendez – Prose “Deer Story”

Kendall Snyder – Prose “The Story of Ferdinand”

Stephanie Hernandez-Castro – Original Oratory “Female Empowerment”

Sam Peters – Radio News Announcing

Earning a “two” rating…
