A Milford man was seriously injured around noon Wednesday when a snowmobile he was operating was involved in a collision with a semi on the north side of Milford.
Milford police say 44-year-old Gabriel Toft of Milford was crossing Highway 86 just west of the Highway 71 intersection when he was struck by a semi driven by 48-year-old Troy Anderson of Saint Peter, Minnesota. The snowmobile and Toft wound up in the north ditch.
Toft was taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare with what authorities say appeared to be serious injuries. He was later transferred by air to another hospital. No injuries were reported to Anderson.
The snowmobile was totaled; damage to the semi was estimated at $2,000.
