Spencer Disturbance Leads To Arrest

A Spencer man faces multiple charges stemming from a disturbance last Wednesday.

Spencer police say officers were called that evening after getting a report of a disturbance. Upon arriving officers determined 21-year-old Francisco Javier Ranzaure Jacome of Spencer had allegedly illegally entered a residence and assaulted a person who lives there.  That person then fled to another residence. Police say Ranzaure Jacome then allegedly entered the second residence illegally… this time armed with a knife, and tried to assault the same person once again. Other occupants managed to disarm Ranzaure Jacome and subdued him until officers arrived.

Ranzaure Jacome was arrested on two counts of first-degree burglary, assault while participating in a felony, and going armed with intent. He was booked into the Clay County jail.
