SL Council Approves Completed Projects

The Storm Lake City Council has approved the substantial completion of the Tenth and Russell Street water quality project.

City manager Keri Navratil says the city received a 13-thousand dollar grant to help pay for the reconstruction of the Tenth and Russell intersection… including a rain garden, replacement of concrete, and subdrains.

The council also approved the completion of the 13th Street extension project. Navratil says the project cost 270-thousand dollars and included about 21-hundred square yards of paving and 700-feet of water main.
