A Schaller woman… arrested last March by the Sac County Sheriff’s Office for growing marijuana… has been sentenced.
Fifty-eight year old Glenda Turnquist is alleged to have conspired with her son, 34-year-old Keegan Cross to manufacture marijuana. She was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Turnquist entered an alford plea this week in Sac County District Court, and received a deferred judgment on a charge of manufacturing a controlled substance. She was placed on probation for one year… ordered to submit a DNA sample… and pay 287-dollars in court costs and surcharges.
Cross earlier pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver… and was given a five-year suspended sentence and placed on probation for three years.
