A wanted man was taken into custody Tuesday evening by Storm Lake Police.
According to the department, 24-year-old Eduardo Murillo Manriguez came to the police station to talk with officers, who determined he was wanted on a Buena Vista County warrant for contempt of court for failure to pay fines.
Police arrested Manriquez, and allegedly found him in possession of a meth and drug paraphernalia. Police seized the items and booked Manriquez into the Buena Vista County Jail on the outstanding warrant and also charged him with second-offense possession of meth, an aggravated misdemeanor… and possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.
