SL Council Approves Airport Project Contract

The Storm Lake City Council has approved an engineering contract for a rehab project at the airport.

City manager Keri Navratil says the work involves rehabilitation of the connector taxiway and apron, and is estimated to cost 190-thousand dollars. The contract for professional services with Bolton and Menk is for 28-thousand dollars.

The FAA pays for 90-percent of the project, with a ten-percent match paid by the city.
