A Storm Lake man was arrested after police were dispatched Wednesday afternoon to the 400 block of Oneida Street to investigate harassment.
Police were told a vehicle had driven by the reporting party and the driver made a threatening gesture. It was reported the suspect had open alcohol in his vehicle. Police then received a report of a vehicle matching the description of the suspect’s vehicle going through the drive through lane at McDonalds, with the driver allegedly drinking an alcoholic beverage.
Police stopped the vehicle in the McDonald’s parking lot and made contact with driver, 24-year-old Ketzell Zeledon. Police allege Zeledon was intoxicated and his driving privileges had already been barred in the state of Iowa.
Zeledon was charged with third-offense OWI, a class “D” felony… driving while barred, an aggravated misdemeanor… third-degree harassment, open container, and no insurance, all simple misdemeanors. He was jailed on a five-thousand dollar bond.
