With a playoff berth and a district title already secured the Sergeant Bluff-Luton football team wrapped up a perfect regular season with a 43-29 win over Storm Lake Friday night at Sergeant Bluff.
The Warriors used a balanced attack rolling up 522 yards of offense with 269 on the ground and another 253 through the air. They never trailed in the game and led 14-0 at the half.
The Tornadoes did score the first touchdown of the second half to close the gap to 14-6 but that is the closest they would get for the game.
Storm Lake had 328 yards of offense with 195 coming on the ground led by Kevin Duque who gained 79 yards on 14 carries. He also passed for 133 yards and two scores. Brayden Hoops and Lamar Mulgae each added rushing touchdowns.
Storm Lake concludes the year at 6-3 overall, the Wells Ag Supply of Fonda player of the game was shared by the senior class.
