Lakes Corridor Recognition Luncheon Nov. 15

A special event November 15th at the Clay County Regional Events Center in Spencer will pay tribute to local businesses.

Iowa Lakes Corridor Development director Kylie Miller says they’ll be holding their annual business recognition luncheon.  “This is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the businesses in our area, and you know there are many and varied. So we really hope to have a good turnout to again celebrate all that is being done in our local business community.”

Miller says the keynote speaker will be Matt Booth from Dubuque. “He’s a motivational speaker and his focus is on attitude. You know, sometimes it’s just good to be reminded that attitude matters. Put a smile on your face and keep driving forward, and that’s really what Matt talks about and sells and he does it with a lot of great stories, good sense of humor, and high, high, energy.”

Those planning to attend the November 15th Business Recognition Luncheon should pre-register by Friday, November 3rd at www.lakescorridor.com or by calling the Corridor office at (712) 264-3474.
