Alta-Aurelia displayed a well rounded attach as they traveled to Milford and defeated Okoboji 47-0!
Nobody managed to score until the second quarter when Jaden Heinrichs ran the ball in from one yard out to put the Warriors on the board first. A minute seventeen later they would strike again on a 25 yard pick six by Aric Stephan. On the next Pioneer possession another pick six, this time by Anthony Krier from 30 yards out. Just barely two minutes into the second quarter and the score went from tied 0-0, to Alta/Aurelia leading 21-0.
Eleven seconds into the third quarter the Warriors would score again. This time Kaleb Sleezer would scamper 60 yards for the TD. Two more scores in the 3rd, a two yard run by Logan McCoy and a six yard pass to Thomas Kueny, would put the Warriors on top 41-0.
Stephan would score again with a 10 yard TD run for the final score of the game.
Alta-Aurelia rushed the ball 36 times for 234 yards. Sleezer finished the night with 138 yards on 11 carries.
The Warriors move to 3-5 on the season and will travel to Orange City next week to take on Unity Christian.
The Pioneers fall to 2-6 and will host Hinton next week.
