A court date has been set for a northwest Iowa woman accused of abducting her three daughters for which she does not have custody.
Arraignment for 25-year-old Danica Arzaga is scheduled for October 16th in Clay County District Court. Arzaga was charged with three counts of third degree kidnapping in connection with the incident last month that sparked the issuance of an Amber Alert. She faces up to 10 years in prison and a ten-thousand dollar fine for each count.
Arzaga is accused of taking the children from a residence in Royal on September 19th. The three kids were found safe that same night at a home in Sanborn. Arzaga was arrested the next day in Sioux City.
