The Storm Lake football team forced four turnovers and allowed only 159 yards in their 28-0 win at LeMars Friday night.
Storm Lake had 174 rushing yards on the night led by Brayden Hoops who carried the ball 14 times for 90 yards and scored three more touchdowns giving him 15 rushing touchdowns on the year. Kevin Duque threw for another 166 yards, including a 69 yard touchdown pass to Mure Werge as the Tornadoes improve to 5-1 on the year.
Sami Damanhoury had two interceptions, Manny Chavez had one, and Cole Wiegert recovered a fumble as the Tornado defense made it’s presence known all night.

The Tornadoes are now 3-1 in district play and will host Spirit Lake next Friday night. The two teams have identical records and are tied for 2nd place in the district.
