Trespass Complaint Leads To Arrest

A Storm Lake man was charged after police Monday were called to 617 Hudson Street to investigate a trespass complaint.

Officers were told the suspect… 28-year-old Christian Quintero of Storm Lake… had been at the residence and had previously been banned.  Quintero fled before officers arrived. Police were called back to the house Monday afternoon on a similar complaint.  Quintero again fled on foot before police arrived.

A police detective a short time later saw Quintero in an alleyway near the 600 block of Hudson.  Quintero fled on foot but was apprehended by police.  Quintero was charged with interference with official acts and two counts of criminal trespass, all simple misdemeanors.

Quintero had several valid arrest warrants issued in Buena Vista County for criminal trespass, fifth-degree criminal mischief, simple misdemeanors… failure to appear for possession of a firearm by a felon, a class “D” felony… and failure to appear for criminal trespass.

Quintero was transported to the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center for a pre incarceration evaluation and then jailed on a 53-hundred dollar bond.
