A Spencer couple has been sentenced on drug charges in Clay County District Court.
Thirty-four year-old Jerry Mosley was charged with third-offense possession of a controlled substance in July of last year. He was sentenced to two years in prison. Last July, he was also charged with first-degree burglary, a class “B” felony… and was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
Mosley received a one-year prison sentence for willful injury causing bodily injury, a class “D” felony… and 30 days in prison for fourth-degree criminal mischief, a serious misdemeanor. The prison sentences are to be served concurrently. Fifteen-hundred dollars in fines were suspended… and he was ordered to pay 14-hundred dollars in court costs and surcharges.
Thirty-four year-old Becky Mosley of Spencer was charged with possession of a controlled substance marijuana. She received a deferred judgment and was placed on probation for six month, and ordered to pay 580-dollars in court costs and surcharges.
