Iowa’s Governor and Lieutenant Governor have several stops in the area this week.
Both Governor Kim Reynolds and Lieutenant Governor Adam Gregg will stop in Gilmore City Tuesday afternoon to discuss the Pocahontas County Water Quality at the northwest side of Lizard Lake County Park at 4:00 p.m.
Wednesday morning, Reynolds and Gregg will be in Spencer for a Building a Better Iowa Economy event at 8:00 a.m. at Great lakes Communication. That will be followed by two events in Storm Lake… a Buena Vista Water Quality Visit at 10:00 a.m. at the intersection of West Fifth Street and highway 110. That will be followed by 34th Annual Governor’s Volunteer Awards at Anderson Auditorium on the Buena Vista University campus at 11:00 a.m.
Wednesday afternoon, Reynolds and Gregg will make a Sac County Water Quality Visit at the Smith Family Farm at 2681 190th Street in Nemaha at 12:45… followed by another Water Quality Visit at Featherstone County Park near Manson at 2:30.
