A Storm Lake man… arrested for child endangerment in April… has been sentenced in Buena Vista County District Court.
Police investigated a fight… and were told 25-year-old Ketzell Zeledon came to the garage of a residence with his two small children, where a party was in progress. The attendees didn’t know Zeledon but invited him to stay. He allegedly later became belligerent and was asked to leave. He then reportedly threatened to get a weapon and he asked the guests at the party if “they’d like to die tonight”.
Zeledon was charged with third-offense public intoxication, first-degree harassment and two counts of child endangerment, all aggravated misdemeanors… and disorderly conduct and criminal trespass, both simple misdemeanors. He pleaded guilty to child endangerment… and was given a two year suspended sentence. Zeledon was placed on probation for two years… ordered to submit a DNA sample… and pay 943-dollars in court costs and surcharges. A 625-dollar fine was suspended.
