The 45th annual Shrine Bowl was held Saturday, July 29th at U-N-I in Cedar Falls and the North squad defeated the South squad 30-13. South Central Calhoun graduate Kody Case was named the North’s offensive MVP. Case had 67 yards receiving, 32 rushing, and 66 returning and tallied a pair of touchdowns. Cherokee’s Ben Lingenfelter got the North on the board with a four yard touchdown run and Storm Lake graduate Josh Werge had a first half interception.
The North squad’s head coach was Humboldt’s Greg Thomas.
