Jacob Meilke at 106 lost in a 2nd round consolation match by a 13-4 major decision. The sophomore’s season ends with a record of 32-10.
Shea Ruffridge at 120 won his quarter-final match 1-0 (he also won his first match yesterday 1-0). In the semifinals, Ruffridge lost by a 3-0 decision. He will wrestle in the consolation semifinals on Saturday, and can finish no worse than 6th.
Matt Stines at 145 Won his quarter-final match by fall in 3:33 and advanced to the semifinals, where he lost by a 6-3 decision. He will compete in tomorrow’s consolation semifinals, and can finish no worse than 6th.
Skylar Solko at 152 won his quarter-final match by fall in 2:42 but then lost in the semi-final round by decision 10-6. He will compete in tomorrow’s consolation semi-finals and can finish no worse than 6th.
Nick Gaes at 195 lost his quarter-final match to OA-BCIG’s Tyler Anderson 11-6, he then lost by fall in 5:35 in the 2nd round of consolations. The sophomore finished his year with a record of 36-5.
Jake Nieman at 106 lost his 2nd round consolation match 6-4. The freshman ends his year with a record of 36-7.
Kurtis Krager at 113 won his quarter-final match by major decision 11-3 but then lost in the semi-finals by decision 8-3.
Tyler Anderson at 195 beat Alta-Aurelia’s Nick Gaes 11-6 and then lost in the semi-finals by fall in 1:59. He will wrestle in the consolation semi-finals and finish no worse than 6th.
