A burglary investigation in Clay County has resulted in the arrests of two people.
The Sheriff’s Office says it stems from a burglary that occurred last Friday at 204 West 2nd Street in Everly. Upon investigating authorities say they determined the suspects, 33-year-old Stefanie Odom and 28-year-old Dustin Tucker, both of Spencer, had been in the residence and took items that didn’t belong to them.
Tucker and Odom were arrested Tuesday and charged with third-degree burglary, a class “D” felony… and fifth-degree criminal mischief, a simple misdemeanor. Both were jailed on five-thousand dollar bonds.
