SCC Starts Fast In Region Win Over OA-BCIG

South Central Cahoun jumped out to a 27-4 1st quarter lead, which propelled them to a 62-23 win over OA-BCIG Saturday night in a 2A girls basketball region opener in Rockwell City.

Alison Birks, the Wells Ag Supply of Fonda Player of the Game, led the Titans with 27 points.  Beth Rehse topped OA-BCIG with 7 points.

The Falcons season ends at 6-15.  Their seniors include Sydney Buehler, Courtney Peters, Skylar Reis, and Amanda Gunderson.

South Central Calhoun (16-6) advances to a region quarterfinal on Tuesday night at Manson Northwest Webster.
