On June 21, a burglary was reported in the 1000th block of Sunrise Park Road in Storm Lake. The total value of the items reported missing was estimated at $960.
On the afternoon of Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at approximately 3:00pm, the Storm Lake Police Department responded to 708 Michigan Street in reference to locating a wanted person.
Upon arrival police located and arrested Zachary Kraft, age 23 of Storm Lake, who was wanted out of Buena Vista County reference Failure to Pay Fines.
Kraft was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail and held without bond.
On the afternoon of Monday, June 20, 2016, at approximately 2:39pm, the Storm Lake Police Department took a report of a possible violation of a no contact order.
Police met with Adam Polson, age 37 of Rembrandt, IA, who alleged his wife Amber Polson, age 39 of Rembrandt, IA, had violated a no contact order at the Dollar General Store in Storm Lake when she engaged in a conversation with him. Police reviewed security video at the store and allege that both subjects violated the no contact order.
Following an investigation police arrested Adam Polson Monday afternoon at the police station and charged him with Violation of a No Contact Order (simple misdemeanor). He was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail and held without bond.
On Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at approximately 11:15am Amber Polson was arrested at the police station and charged with Violation of a No Contact Order (simple misdemeanor). She was booked into the county jail and held without bond.
All defendants are considered innocent until proven guilty.
