SL Library Summer Reading Program Begins Saturday

The Summer Reading Program at the Storm Lake Public Library begins soon.

Youth service librarian Melissa Miller says the program is entitled “Every Hero Has A Story”… and starts on May 30th. Kids are invited to stop by the circulation desk and pick up a bingo card and June calendar to see all the activities planned for June. Participants will receive a free book sack and other small prizes for signing up.

Miller says other special events in June include a visit from Dan Wardell of Iowa Public TV… the Storm Lake Fire Department and fire truck… magician Robert Swan… story teller Pippa White… and BV County Naturalist Katie Struss.

The free summer reading program is sponsored by the Friends of the Storm Lake Public Library.
