City crews have finished up with the Citywide Cleanup pickup on the City’s west side as of Thursday morning, April 30, 2015.
Items that were not picked up were either not eligible for pick up through the curbside pickup program, were not ticketed, or were placed after crews went by. Property owners are responsible for the disposal of these items immediately.
Brush and yard debris can be taken to the BV County Recycle Center during normal business hours. For more information please visit their web page at www.bvcorecycling.com.
TV’s and tires can be dropped off at the BV County Recycle Center with a coupon which can be purchased at City Hall until May 15, 2015. The Recycle Center will stop accepting the coupons after May 22nd, 2015.
The City appreciates property owners immediate help in removing left over items from the curbs on the City’s West side and disposing of the items properly.
Cleanup dates for the City’s east side remain the same as were originally scheduled and all items should be placed on the curb by 7:00AM on Monday May 11, 2015.Residents on the City’s east side should note that all appliances (a list of appliances is available on the City’s web page) will require a sticker or they will not be picked up. Stickers can be purchased at City Hall during normal business hours (Monday thru Friday from 8AM to 5PM).
