Saint Mary’s golf team hosted Sioux Central at Lake Creek. The Panther boys shot a 179, the Rebels carded a 207. Josh Demers shot a 42, Aaron Miller and Jake Smith shot 45, and Kyle Besaw had a 47. For Sioux Central, AJ Saunders and Sam Wood with 48, Matt Saunders 51, and Trey Herrig with 60.
The Panther girls shot a 225, Sioux Central had a 257. The Rebels Cassidy Hanson was the medalist with a 52, Katie Lenhart was the runner up with a 53.
The Newell-Fonda golf teams were hosting GT-RA yesterday at the Newell golf course. The Mustang boys shot a 183 and won the dual by 24 strokes. Jason Hess was the medalist with a 41. The Mustang girls shot a 210 and won by 14 shots. Brooke Belcher was the medalist with a 45. Michaela Kies shot 53, Morgan Magnussen 54, and Morgan Hurd 58.
At Pocahontas, the PAC/LM boys shot a 156 and beat East Sac County by 10 shots. For the Raiders, Austin Brown 37, Dylan Schleffler 39, Tyler Jacobsen 39, Jordan Werner and Josh Halbur both shot 49’s. PAC/LM was led by Sam Brinkman with 37, Dominic Johnson and Devin Grossnickle both shot 39, and Luke Koster 41.
Boys triangular at Holstein was won by Woodbury Central with a 162, Ridge View 184, and Lawton Bronson 215. Raptors were led by Garrett Lamp 41, Gus Leonard 43, Kyle Mentzer 49, Colt Wandrey and John Kofmehl 51’s.
At the Twin Lakes Country Club, the SC-Calhoun girls shot a 183 and beat Southeast Valley by 23 shots. Katie Welander was the medalist with a 42.
The Titans boys lost to Southeast Valley by three shots after shooting a 154. Colin Carlson led the Titans with a 36.
At Spencer, the Tiger boys golf team shot a 161 and beat OA-BCIG by four shots. For the Falcons, Parker Rasmussen 40, Jacob Henderson and Brandon Schwade shot 41, and Connor Christiansen carded a 43.
