Warriors and Titans place three at state/8 area wrestlers medal

The Alta-Aurelia wrestling team had three wrestlers compete at the class 1A state tournament over the weekend and all three came home with medals.Cooper Siebrecht placed 8th at 106, the freshman finished the year with a record of 40-5.  Sophmore Skylar Solko was 3rd at 120 and finished the year with a record of 36-3.  John Tuttle placed 7th at 126, the sophmore ended the year with a record of 45-6.

Also medaling in 1A were OA-BCIG wrestler Cash Wilcke who won a state title at 195, pinning his opponent in the championship match in 43 seconds.  The Iowa recruit finished his year with a record of 43-0.

All three wrestlers from South Central Calhoun placed at the meet led by Rylan Richardson who was 4th at 195, the junior finished the year with a record of 53-4.  Senior Jeff King won his final match to place 7th and finish the year at 47-10.  Logan Peed placed 6th at 160, the  senior finished the year at 48-8.

Manson Northwest Webster wrestler Tim Butcher was 7th at 285, the junior ended the year at 48-4.
