East Sac County hit 13 threes in their 84-61 win over Storm Lake St. Mary’s in boys basketball Friday night in Sac City. The Raiders led 24-8 after the 1st quarter, and led by as many as 20 in the 1st half. The Panthers got within 40-26 at the half, but could get no closer than 11 from there. Tyler Jacobsen knocked down four threes and had a game-high 23 points for East Sac, followed by Cameron Wernimont’s 16, and Michael Halbur had 13. Aaron Miller scored a career-best 22 points for the Panthers, followed by Michael Demers with 11, and Riley Godfredson had a career-high 8. Both teams finished regular season play, as East Sac is now 10-10, while St. Mary’s sits at 5-16.
