Pocahontas Drug Arrests

Two arrests were made by the Pocahontas County Sheriff’s Office after a traffic stop near the Pocahontas-Humboldt County Line.

Sheriff Bob Lampe says the driver of the vehicle… 54-year-old James Pettit of Fort Dodge… was charged with operating while intoxicated or drugged, possession of meth, and possession of marijuana, all serious misdemeanors… child endangerment, an aggravated misdemeanor… and possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor. Pettit was jailed on a 53-hundred dollar bond.

A passenger… 50-year-old Brenda Hanson of Fort Dodge… was charged with possession of meth, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and child endangerment. Hanson was jailed on a 43-hundred dollar bond.
