SLPD Drug Arrests

The Storm Lake Police Department has arrested seven people in connection with a five-month investigation into the sale and use of methamphetamine and marijuana in Storm Lake.
Sunday evening, police stopped a vehicle driven by 35-year-old Keomanivanh Senesoury of Storm Lake near the intersection of West Milwaukee Avenue and Geneseo Street. Police allege that over a five-month period, they arranged for the purchase of methamphetamine on four occasions, and marijuana on one occasion from Senesoury. On Sunday evening, when Senesoury’s vehicle was stopped by police, they allegedly located and seized meth and cash believed to be proceeds from illegal drug sales.
At approximately 3am this morning, Storm Lake Police executed a search warrant at a residence located at 725 Hickory Lane in connection with the investigation. Upon entering the residence, police encountered multiple inhabitants, including two persons reportedly actively smoking methamphetamine. Police took six people into custody inside of the residence.
During the execution of the search warrant, police located and seized multiple baggies of methamphetamine packaged for resale, marijuana packaged for resale, multiple items of drug paraphernalia, documents believed to be linked to illegal drug sales, packaging materials and cash believed to be acquired from illegal drug sales.
Storm Lake Police have charged the following individuals…Senesoury with four counts of Delivery of Meth, a class C felony…two counts of Possession of Meth With Intent to Deliver, a class C felony…Delivery of Marijuana, a class D felony…Possession With Intent to Deliver Marijuana, a class D felony…Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor. Senesoury was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail on a 50-thousand dollar bond.
30-year-old Kaisone Navongsa of Storm Lake was charged with Possession With Intent to Deliver Meth…Possession With Intent to Deliver Marijuana…Gathering Where Controlled Substances Are Used, a class D felony…and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Navongsa was booked on a 50-thousand dollar bond.
29-year-old Khonsavanh Navongsa of Storm Lake was charged with Gathering Where Controlled Substances Are Used…and Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, both simple misdemeanors, and was booked on a five-thousand dollar bond.
33-year-old Thavone Navongsa of Storm Lake was charged with Gathering Where Controlled Substances are Used…and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and was booked on a five-thousand dollar bond.
20-year-old Tommy Navongsa of Storm Lake, 40-year-old Chanthala Satibanchong of Storm Lake, and 26-year-old Alex Senesoury of Storm Lake were all charged with Gathering Where Controlled Substances are Used, and were all booked on five-thousand dollar bonds.
