Two people were arrested after an incident at a rural Rembrandt residence Friday night.
Buena Vista County Sheriff Kory Elston says 24-year-old Julie Cranston of Rembrandt was allegedly assaulting a man and woman and wielding a knife. Deputies charged Cranston with assault while displaying a dangerous weapon, domestic abuse assault using a weapon, and child endangerment, all aggravated misdemeanors… and possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.
Also arrested was 22-year-old Alexander Blakeley of Albert City… who was charged with possession of drug parphernalia. Both Cranston and Blakeley was booked into the county jail.
