A man from Whiting has died from a welding accident.  The Monona County Sheriff’s Department says a call was received Tuesday afternoon that a man had been shocked while welding at a rural location east of Whiting.
          Emergency crews found 40-year-old Tracy Brenden of Whiting lying on the ground in front of a building.  Witnesses told authorities Brenden was doing some welding when something went wrong with the equipment and he was shocked.  Attempts by paramedics to revive Brenden were unsuccessful.
