The 15th annual Buena Vista County Relay for Life was held Friday evening at the Storm Lake High School.

          The theme this year was “RFL Olympic Games… Where Survivors Win the Gold.” 

          Co-chair Kelly Scott says they had 21 teams… with several laps made around the high school track… including the Children’s Lap, for all children touched by cancer.   

          A highlight was the survivor’s lap… when cancer survivors introduced themselves to the crowd.  It was followed by a silent auction of donated items. The luminary lighting ceremony was held at 10:00 Friday evening.
